Can I wear jeans to Newmarket races?
Male racegoers often wear smart trousers, collared shirt and formal shoes. Ladies are encouraged to wear a hat. There is no formal restriction on wearing jeans, however they are rarely seen. We kindly ask that you do not bring your own food or drink into any enclosure at the racecourse. Hip flasks are not permitted and there will be bag searches in place.
