Yes, freeing the four Divine Beasts (Vah Ruta, Vah Medoh, Vah Rudania, and Vah Naboris) significantly weakens Calamity Ganon in Breath of the Wild. Each cleared beast reduces Ganon's health by 1/8th (12.5%) before the final battle, for a total of 50% health reduction.
However, for each of the Divine Beasts you've freed, a scene will trigger in which the Champion Spirits unleash the power of the Beasts to send a beam straight at Ganon. This will lower his health by 1/8th for every Dungeon you've cleared - for a total of ½ of his total health.
Do you need all four Divine Beasts to defeat Ganon?
As for the fight, you have to beat all 4 divine beast mini bosses prior to getting to Ganon, which is the hardest part, at least for me. The order was Air, Water, Fire, and Electric I believe. Gannon will have double the health which may or may not make the second phase of the fight really hard for you.
In Age of Calamity, the Yiga Clan work closely with Astor to serve Ganon — that is, until Astor attempts to sacrifice the lives of the Yiga in pursuit of his goal.
Can you BEAT Breath of the Wild using ONLY Divine Beasts??
Why are the Yiga obsessed with bananas?
They are the clear obsession of the Yiga Clan, as their hideout contains many mighty bananas and all defeated Yiga Footsoldiers and Blademasters drop them. Yiga Blademasters will also eat them when given the opportunity, which is a good distraction technique for sneaking past them in the Yiga Clan Hideout.
During the quest "EX Champions' Ballad" unlock upon installing "The Champions' Ballad" DLC pack, a fifth Divine Beast at the Shrine of Resurrection at the Great Plateau, taking the name "Final Trial".
After the united forces of Hyrule broke through the Calamity's forces, the Blood Moon remained in the sky until Calamity Ganon was sealed again. Following the completion of the last Scenario and the start of the postgame, Blood Moons start appearing.
While the DLC is set after Link frees the Divine Beasts but before he takes on Calamity Ganon, Monk Maz Koshia is comfortably the hardest boss fight in not only "Breath of the Wild", but the entire "The Legend of Zelda" franchise.
The interior of Rudania is initially pitch dark inside. Inside its walls are numerous Glowing Eyeballs. Shooting their eyes will destroy them and make a Treasure Chest appear in their place.
The difference between the two endings is minimal, with the true ending simply providing an extra cutscene and wrapping up the story more neatly. The true ending leads seamlessly into the sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, as it connects to a memory where Link returns the Master Sword to its pedestal in Korok Forest.
Ganon is still alive and always will be, NPCs will still tell you to go defeat him and save the world, the story, gameplay, all of the quests etc. are all still the same as before and the "Defeat Ganon" quest will forever remain unfinished.
Naboris is by far the most intimidating Divine Beast. Rudania is pretty close too, although that's probably a me thing since I'm freaked out by lizards lol.
To get 999 Fairies in Breath of the Wild, you must use the Inventory Slot Transfer (IST) duplication glitch, a complex exploit involving specific inventory manipulation across two save files to trick the game into creating massive stacks, allowing for essentially infinite fairies for resurrection. This isn't a normal farming method but a known item duplication glitch used by speedrunners to achieve near-immortality, requiring precise steps to duplicate items like Fairies into huge stacks (e.g., 999).
Yes, you can trigger a Blood Moon in Breath of the Wild by either waiting out a hidden timer (around 2 hours 48 mins of real-world play) or by intentionally overloading the game's memory with specific actions, like rapid firing opal arrows at breakable rocks in certain caves to cause significant lag, forcing an immediate Blood Moon to reset the game state.
The DLC gives him a Divine Beast, but it is much, much more compact than the others (smaller than a horse, even) to highlight the "up close and personal" nature of his role in the Calamity fight.
In line with that, the game has two endings; one being the "true ending" that unlocks an additional cutscene. The player earns the cutscene if they free all four Divine Beasts and collects all of Link's memories. The true ending isn't about fighting the final boss.
The Yiga Clan serve as one of the game's main villainous faction, and work alongside Astor and Harbinger Ganon with the goal of unleashing Calamity Ganon upon Hyrule.
