The tickets situation for the remainder of our 2023 Matlock Bath Illuminations season is straightforward. The only nights we currently have advance tickets available are the next three Sundays - October 8th, 15th and 22nd.
On the night from the Ticket Office situated on the entrance to Derwent Gardens, Matlock Bath (open from 5.30pm to 8.45pm) if online tickets haven't sold out in advance. Please note that we will only be taking card payments at the ticket office.

There is a car park on the A6 between Matlock Bath and Matlock at Artists' Corner ((DE4 3PS). In Matlock itself (which is 2 miles from Matlock Bath), the 192-space Station Car Park (DE4 3NA) is situated next to the town's main bus station.

Where is the best place to see the Matlock fireworks?
There are also fantastic firework displays every Saturday evening throughout October. The fireworks light up the skies around Matlock Bath in multi-colours. The firework displays begin at 9pm on the cliffs opposite Crow Pie Cottage and are best viewed from the cottage garden.
Matlock Bath is just as much fun to visit today. It has a long high street lined with quirky shops, cafés, amusement arcades and visitor attractions, as well as peaceful paths for shady strolls alongside the River Derwent.
The Matlock Christmas Market is a two-day event held at Hall Leys Park on Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17. A collection of old favourites and new surprises are expected for 2023.

There are 4 car parks in Matlock Bath – Temple Road Car Park, Pavilion Car Park, Station Car Park and Artists Corner Car Park. Pavilion Car Park has a 2 hour limit. Payment can now be made via text on your phone or with cash.

Blackpool's annual Illuminations display will once again be extended by two months, shining nightly from September 1, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
It takes place every Boxing Day at 10am starting at Cawdor Quarry in Matlock and finishing at Cromford Bridge. There is then an awards ceremony at the Fish Pond at Matlock bath where the winners are announced and the donations to the RNLI counted.
