The Bible says God “has also set eternity in the hearts of men” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). But the main reason we know heaven exists is because of Jesus Christ. He is the divine Son of God who came down from heaven to redeem us from our sins — and the reason He did this was so we could go to heaven when we die.
Since God does not lie we therfore know that heaven is real, it is a place filled with God's glory and perfection. The Bible is proof of heaven, so is the information from those who visited heaven, if we ask Him in the spirit if heaven is real, He will say: Yes, of course it is real, and one day you'll expereince this.
How long does it take to go to heaven after death?
While the Bible teaches that Christians go to be with God immediately after death, it also emphasizes the hope of the resurrection and the new heaven and new earth at the end of time. At Christ's return, believers' bodies will be resurrected and transformed, and they will live in the new creation with God forever.

As heavens and hells fade from secular society, the scientific worldview offers no decisive proof about what happens when the physical body dies. That should make the afterlife an open question, like speculating about whether a plant orbiting around a distant star might have life on it.
