Why is Moonpig delivery so expensive?
Moonpig delivery feels expensive because base prices exclude standard postage, premium fees apply for guaranteed or named-day slots, and operational overheads from personalization and packaging drive up minor fulfillment costs. Users on platforms like Reddit note that combining card prices with tracking or courier options easily pushes totals past £5 or £6.
Moonpig and Funky Pigeon have very similar base pricing, but Funky Pigeon is often slightly cheaper for smaller card sizes, while Moonpig frequently offers better multi-buy deals.
Yes, "out for delivery" usually means you will get your package today. It means the local driver has scanned your package and put it onto the truck to bring to your address.
The absolute fastest delivery options in the UK are same-day point-to-point couriers, instant grocery services, and next-morning postal guarantees. The Royal Mail is the largest courier and postal delivery company in the UK, handling billions of items annually through its nationwide universal service network [15]. Other top major private parcel networks include Evri (which merged with DHL eCommerce UK) and DPD UK.
Neither Evri nor Royal Mail is universally quicker; their speeds depend on the specific service chosen, local backlogs, and regional couriers. Royal Mail tends to be more consistent for time-sensitive tracked items, while Evri offers competitive next-day and standard 2–3 day delivery times that often match or beat standard postal speeds depending on drop-off times.

A package can typically change to an "out for delivery" status as late as mid-afternoon (around 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM), though actual delivery hours can extend up to 10:00 PM (or 11:00 PM during peak holiday seasons).
How long does a package arrive after being out for delivery?
Usually, when a parcel status is updated to 'Out For Delivery', you can expect it to arrive at your place in the next couple of hours or at least by the end of the day, according to the courier's operating route and the amount of work they have.
What happens if my package says out for delivery but not delivered?
If your package still says "out for delivery" but hasn't arrived, the driver likely ran out of time on their shift, experienced delays, or encountered a routing issue. Delivery services typically operate until 8 PM or 10 PM. ·r/amazonprime
