The Seven Falls trail is a subsection of Bear Canyon #29. This popular trail is out and back across numerous streams and rugged terrain. Without using the shuttle service, the hike is approximately 8.5 miles round trip from the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center.
The trail starts out on pavement. Midway through it becomes pretty challenging, scrambling up and down rocks. To get to the falls, you have to scramble down a relatively steep, muddy path where there is a rope to help you down to the pool and back up.
Seven Falls is a magnificent series of waterfalls located in a 1,250-foot-walled box canyon between the towering Pillars of Hercules. Take in stunning valleys and striking rock formations as you climb the challenging 224 steps to the hiking trails and the banks of glistening streams that feed the falls.
The attraction is closed on Tuesdays between the end of May and Labor Day, and it is closed other days of the week during spring and fall. Advance timed ticket purchase online is highly recommended. The cost is $18 for adults and $12 for children 2 to 12. There are discounts available for seniors and the military.
Visitors can view the scenic wonder of Seven Falls from either the top of the 224 step staircase or from the Eagle's Nest viewing platform, which can be accessed via elevator. In the evenings, the falls are beautifully illuminated by colorful lighting.
There is an admission fee to the area, as it is on Broadmoor owned property. It is also known as a tourist attraction, but it is worth the trip and if you go during off season, no crowds to speak of. After parking at the Norris Event center, a free shuttle will take you to the base of the road leading up to the falls.
During the spring and summer, the falls usually have enough water for swimming, and adventurous hikers sometimes slide off the lower falls into the deep pools below—always checking conditions first for safety. From the Santa Barbara Mission, drive up Mission Canyon Road to Foothill Road and turn right.
The Four Waterfalls Walk in the Brecon Beacons typically takes 2.5 to 4 hours, covering about 5.5 miles (9 km), but allow extra time for photos and enjoying the falls; it's a moderate hike with steep, potentially slippery sections and steps, requiring sturdy, waterproof footwear. The time varies based on your pace and how long you spend at each of the four stunning waterfalls (Sgwd Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd y Pannwr, and Sgwd yr Eira).

The popular hike to Santa Barbara's Seven Falls in Los Padres National Forest is an easygoing, 2.5-mile out-and-back that begins on a paved path as it climbs through oak groves then turns into dirt singletrack within a mile.
After climbing up the 224 steps to the top of the Falls, additional Hiking Trails lead out to places such as the smaller Midnight Falls. A more moderate hiking trail to Inspiration Point provides an elevated view through the Box Canyon, with Mt.
