Do we have to pre-book for the Ice Bar, Sur La Piste or Altitude? We do accept walk-ins, however to guarantee your slot, we highly recommend pre-booking tables in all of our winter bars in advance as this will ensure there is space.

Do you get a free drink at ice bar Winter Wonderland?
Enjoy festive cocktails at this funky, pop-art themed bar where everything you see is crafted entirely from ice. A free cocktail is included in the price - choose from a menu of delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, all served in individual pre-carved ice glasses.
On weekdays, entry to Winter Wonderland is free on until 2pm; £5 per person until 4pm, and after 4pm, is £7.50. At weekends, prices start at £5, increasing to £7.50 from 2pm (and staying that way all day).
These are optional if you have your own, but I'd highly recommend taking advantage of this as the temperature is about -18 degrees celsius! The Ice Bar itself is decked out like a cosy ski lodge, only it's all made out of ice: the chairs, the floor, the bar — everything!
Instead, I got a standard, no cream, no marshmallows Hot Chocolate for £3.50, and although it was very nice, it was less than a half-pint size and didn't offer enough heat to warm me up.
Due to the time sensitive nature of the Nottingham Ice Bar sessions, it may NOT ALWAYS be possible to move your reservation if you miss your allocated time. We would advise you to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your 45 minute session.
We went yesterday, it is called Bar Ice and is located (on the righthand side) next to the Magical Ice Kingdom, although you are given a cape with gloves, wrap up warm underneath as it is cold in there but good fun and the cocktails were really nice. Have fun.

IceBar sessions are 40 minutes each and the venue is available for hire. Prices for standard tickets include a cocktail, cape and gloves are £14.50 for slots from Sunday-Monday before 5:30 pm. They go down to £13.50 if booked in advance. Prices at all other times start at £16.50, rising with upgrades and packages.

Entry for Nottingham Winter Wonderland is FREE, however there are certain activities that will require a ticket. There is no time to waste, so we recommend booking in advance to beat the queues and ensure that you get access to everything you want!
While you can use cash at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, all our bars and stalls accept contactless payments. You will also be able to use contactless payments at our rides, token booths and games.
There shall be no admittance to the Event without a valid Event Ticket. You must retain your Entry Ticket on your person at all times during the Event.
Please note anyone aged 12 and under will not be permitted into Bar Ice after 7pm. Anyone aged 17 years and under must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or over. All ticket holders with the exception of children aged 2 and under must have a valid Adult ticket.
It's basically an expensive funfair, where you have to pay for everything separately, by prepaid paper tokens. I took a 4.5 y.o, and although the rides were good, you can expect to pay £7-15 for 1 adult and a child <12 EACH RIDE. > 12 is charged as an adult.
You must have a pre-booked time slot to enter Winter Wonderland, you can only enter during your time slot but once you're in you can stay as long as you like. Entry is free during off-peak periods and costs between £5 – £7.50 for peak hours.
Recommended visiting time for Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland is around three hours, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time to try out a few rides or games, watch a few performances and sample some delicious food and hot mulled wine.
