Recommended visiting time for Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland is around three hours, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time to try out a few rides or games, watch a few performances and sample some delicious food and hot mulled wine.
We would recommend this place just to enjoy the christmas vibes and take some nice pictures, would probably spend about 2 hours or so here. This is the first time we have visited winter wonderland and was taken back by the scale of it. Its huge!! So much to see here, loads of food and drink to try too.

You will need to enter Hyde Park Winter Wonderland during your entrance ticket time slot, but after that you are welcome to stay and enjoy the festive fun for as long as you like until we close at 10pm.
On weekdays, entry to Winter Wonderland is free on until 2pm; £5 per person until 4pm, and after 4pm, is £7.50. At weekends, prices start at £5, increasing to £7.50 from 2pm (and staying that way all day).

Is Winter Wonderland too expensive?
It's basically an expensive funfair, where you have to pay for everything separately, by prepaid paper tokens. I took a 4.5 y.o, and although the rides were good, you can expect to pay £7-15 for 1 adult and a child <12 EACH RIDE. > 12 is charged as an adult.

All guests will require a valid identification document confirming they are aged 18 or over to enter Bavarian Hall during the evening session (6PM-10PM).

Yes, all visitors will need to have an entrance ticket before arriving at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. You will need to purchase an Off-Peak, Standard, or Peak entrance ticket depending on when you wish to attend. Please note all members of your party will require an entry ticket.
Mornings are great for families, where you can explore Winter Wonderland at a leisurely pace. When the evening comes around, Hyde Park is transformed by thousands of sparkling lights – so grab your mulled wine, hot chocolate, or stein of Bavarian beer and get ready to join in the festive fun.
We strongly advise not bringing large bags or luggage to event as we may not be able to accommodate these. We advise only bringing a handbag or small rucksack. We ask all guests to be vigilant and not to leave bags and belongings unattended at any time.

Winter Wonderland is open between 17th November and the 1st January every day (except Christmas day) 10am till 10pm. If you are coming to visit us you will find that on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays please note that the event may be busier than our weekday sessions.
If you have water bottles with you, prepare to have them confiscated before entry, as you are expected to purchase water and drinks from the park. There are a variety of food places, bars, a circus and lots of different rides.

So it's with some trepidation that, in the year of our lord 2023, I head back to Winter Wonderland. It's an “off-peak” time, so the queues – thankfully – are minimal. Our tickets are scanned, before security guards open bags and pat down coats thoroughly.
Instead, I got a standard, no cream, no marshmallows Hot Chocolate for £3.50, and although it was very nice, it was less than a half-pint size and didn't offer enough heat to warm me up.
