Of all the mysteries and theories those clues have inspired, the idea that Abigail's real father is actually the Wizard has so much supporting evidence that it can hardly be labeled as a theory any longer. Here's a look at the evidence all but confirming the Wizard is Abigail's father.
Abigail's father is commonly believed to not actually be Pierre, but the Wizard, and there seems to be proof within Stardew Valley. Among the many fan theories in Stardew Valley, the idea that Abigail is the Wizard's daughter may be the most widely believed.
Caroline is a villager living in Stardew Valley. She lives with her husband Pierre and daughter Abigail at the General Store. She's very homey and enjoys being a housewife, and is rather frustrated with her daughter's less conventional hobbies and attitude.
Abigail, Haley, Sebastian, Penny, Maru, Alex and Sam as 19-24 years old. Leah, Elliott, Shane, Harvey, Sandy and Emily as 28-35 years old. Clint, Caroline, Robin, Willy, Marnie, Demetrius, Kent, Jodi, Gus, Pierre, and Pam as 40+ years old. George, Linus, Lewis, Evelyn and The Wizard as 55+ years old.
Abigail Is Secretly The Wizards Daughter?! - Stardew Valley 1.3
Who is the wizard's daughter?
The most damning piece of evidence comes from the Wizard himself, who confesses that one of Pelican Town's residents may be his long-lost daughter. He never goes into further detail, but that comment, paired with his implied secret affair with Caroline, all but confirms the Wizard is indeed Abigail's biological father.
Because Abigail spends some of her schedule aside from her sixth heart event standing next to Mona's gravestone, it can be assumed that Mona was an important person to Abigail, such as her late grandmother, for instance.
For players who value personality over in-game gains, Leah's definitely the best romance partner in Stardew Valley. Those who chose the Fruit Bat Cave will also find some benefit from her, as she'll occasionally give players mushrooms on rainy days and other foraged items.
It's the exact same shade of purple as the Wizard's! While dialogue lines from Abigail and Caroline indicate that Abigail once dyed her hair and that Caroline thinks Abigail is still dying it, one particular line from Abigail reveals that she hasn't redyed it in a long time, and yet the abnormal color never fades.
Consider that the Wizard has a magical appearance-changing shrine in his basement and demonstrated its use by changing his hair to bubblegum-pink. Coincidentally, this color is the “best” response the farmer can give when Abigail asks them what color she should dye her hair.
It's undeniable that Joja is the villain of Stardew Valley's genre-defining experience. That much is laid out from the beginning, with the player character starting the game in a miserable job at Joja that they quit in favor of a life on Grandpa's farm.
Also, she's reasonably easy to romance, even from the beginning of the game. Abigail's perks as a partner increase as you get married. Once she's your Stardew Valley spouse, she can sometimes give rare items as gifts such as Solar and Void Essences. Her cheery personality also lights up your farm in any season.
She likes to go to the graveyard because it's the only peaceful grave. She probably looks just at that grave because all the other graves are unreadable and, like all other townsfolk, most likely knew Mona before she died.
Jas is a child resident of Pelican Town who lives with her aunt Marnie and her godfather Shane rather than her parents, as they died of unknown causes.
At Mona's funeral, Wizard has an affair with Jas's Mother, and Jas is later born. Witch finds out about this infidelity and kills Jas's mother and father a few years later. Having established a relationship with Jas's father and mother, Shane was deemed the Godfather for Jas.
The wiki says that Shane is Jas' godfather and Marnie is an aunt for both of them. If my logic is correct, Marnie is probably a middle child; Shane is one of her older sibling's kids, and Jas is related to a younger sibling.
The game suggests that Sebastian may have had a crush on Abigail at some point, and, if married to Maru, she will tell the player that she wishes that "Sebastian would make a move on Abigail already."
It terms of return on investment or raw benefits in-game, probably Abigail is the best as she gives you Bombs on occasion but really Bombs are so cheap to buy or make that that's a pretty slim advantage. I suppose if another spouse gave you a rare high health or decent buff food like Spicy Eel that could be better.
Once married, Abigail might also gift you rare items such as Void Essence and Fire Quartz, which is great if you don't fancy fighting monsters in the tougher mine levels. Even better, if you need some quick cash, the gifts have a high sell value.
