The IS-2Sh (IS-M) was a project for the significant modification of the IS-2 proposed by N. F. Shashmurin at Kirov Factory No. 100 in early 1944. The design featured a long-barrel 122 mm gun and a rear placement of the fighting compartment.
The IS-3 saw service on the Chinese-Soviet border, the Soviet invasion of Hungary, the Prague Spring and on both sides of the Six-Day War. However, the mobility and firepower of medium-tanks and the evolution of the main battle tank rendered heavy tanks obsolete.
IS-7 | War Thunder Wiki. The IS-7 is the sixth variant of the IS heavy tank family. It is a Soviet heavy tank that began development in 1945 under the project designation Object 260. The vehicle only existed as a prototype before being cancelled in favour of the T-10 (IS-8) variant.
In physics, angular frequency (symbol ω), also called angular speed and angular rate, is a scalar measure of the angle rate (the angle per unit time) or the temporal rate of change of the phase argument of a sinusoidal waveform or sine function (for example, in oscillations and waves).
We therefore need a third quantum number, known as the magnetic quantum number (m), to describe the orientation in space of a particular orbital. (It is called the magnetic quantum number because the effect of different orientations of orbitals was first observed in the presence of a magnetic field.)
I = q / t where I is current in amperes, q is charge in coulombs, and t is time in seconds. The power used by a circuit component depends on the current and the potential difference across the component. P = V × I where P is power in watts, V is potential difference in volts, and I is current in amperes.
Charge. Charge comes in two forms, positive and negative. For example, a negative charge causes a repulsive force on a neighbouring negative charge. is a property of a body which experiences a force in an electric field. Charge is measured in coulombs (C).
The quantum number MJ of the operator Jz defines the projection of J along a given direction (defined as the z axis). The possible values of MJ are: MJ = J, (J-1), (J-2), ... -J. The total number of MJ values is 2MJ + 1.
The exponents m and n are called partial orders of reaction and are not generally equal to the stoichiometric coefficients a and b. Instead they depend on the reaction mechanism and can be determined experimentally. Sum of m and n, that is, (m + n) is called the overall order of reaction.
The constant 2pi comes from the fact that one revolution per second is equivalent to 2pi radians per second. In other words, whenever an object makes one full revolution each second, that object rotates a measure of 2 pi radians per second.
Alpha particles (a) are composite particles consisting of two protons and two neutrons tightly bound together (Figure 1). They are emitted from the nucleus of some radionuclides during a form of radioactive decay, called alpha-decay.
A wave is characterized by its wavelength (λ), the distance between two corresponding points or successive peaks. The wavenumber (k) is simply the reciprocal of the wavelength, given by the expression. k = 1 / λ The wavenumber (k) is therefore the number of waves or cycles per unit distance.
Overview. Its a Soviet Tank that resembles a a IS-6 Tank, with a Big Hull 2 KV-1s turrets in both two sides, and also has a improved cannon, larger than the original IS-6.
IS-7's armament was the 130 mm S-70 gun, which was 54 calibers long. An auto-loader with a crank was provided. This would drop the shell and propellant onto a conveyor, which had to be cranked to the rear of the breech.
In comparison to the Tiger I, the IS-2 had advantages in armour, even though it was 10 tons lighter. In 1944, the IS-2 was the only large-scale Allied tank whose armor provided some protection from the well-known Tiger 88mm long-barreled guns and Panther 75mm L/70 guns.
IS-1 | War Thunder Wiki. The IS-1 is the first variant of the IS heavy tank family. The new IS-1 was intended to overcome the lack of firepower and protection issues of the KV series with a whole new sloped hull design.
The IS-3 (also known as Object 703) is a Soviet heavy tank developed in late 1944. Its semi-hemispherical cast turret (resembling that of an upturned soup bowl) became the hallmark of post-war Soviet tanks. Its pike nose design would also be mirrored by other tanks of the IS tank family such as the IS-7 and T-10.
The IS tank family (IS in Cyrillic "ИС", meaning the Joseph Stalin or Iosif Stalin in Cyrillic "Ио́сиф Ста́лин") was a series of heavy tanks developed as a successor to the KV-series by the Soviet Union during World War II. It was named after Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.
