Buxton Market Christmas Market – Our traditional market running along side Christmas shopping stalls, food, drink, music and more. Will now also incorporate their monthly specialist Food & Drink market, due to the being rescheduled from 9th December, so there will be more stalls than ever before.
Buxton Market is run by a Community Interest Company called Buxton Markets. Outdoor Market Day operates every Tuesday and Saturday from 9am - 4pm at Market Place Car Park.

See the charming streets, courtyards and alleyways of Bakewell brought to life with a sprinkling of Christmas sparkle at the town's popular annual market. Browse over 100 stalls throughout the town and find quality gifts from local traders from across the Peak District and Derbyshire.
This is a free event to attend, with some traders from the famous Monday market, as well as traders from across the Peak District, making up around 100 stalls. Look out for Rachael and her Disney characters, Stitch, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, the Elf on the Shelf and the Grinch.
Bakewell Christmas Market 2023 is held on Market Street, Granby Road and Riverside Cresent and welcomes visitors, friends and families to our very own quintessential Christmas Market. The Matlock Christmas Market is one of two events held in the town during December. The first is the Victorian Christmas Markets on the first weekend of December.
The first Saturday of each month sees a range of extra Craft, Quirky & Vintage stalls. On the third Saturday of each month there is a Food & Drink Special Market alongside our regular traders. There are special markets to coincide with Buxton events.
