There are over 50 rinks across the length and breadth of the UK, with more than double that number during the festive period. Each rink will offer a range of programmes and skating opportunities, with something to suit everyone, no matter what their level or experience.
The best way to start learning to ice skate is to find your nearest rink, put on some skates and have a go. It will take a few sessions to build up your confidence and skills, so don't be put off if you can't glide after your first 45 minutes on the ice.

For safety reasons, all children between the ages of 4-12 must be accompanied by a skater who is 13 years old or over. There is no height restriction to skate, however, we recommend hiring a skate aid for children to help them find their feet on the ice.
Skate Hire is included in the Ice Skating ticket price but you are also welcome to bring your own skates, subject to suitability checks (note – speed skates are NOT permitted).
