Cardiff Winter Wonderland opened on Thursday, November 16, you can read all about the opening night here, and is running until Tuesday, January 2. Entry is free of charge to both sites however you do need to pay for the activities once there.

Visitor Info. We have organised a Christmas Market in Cardiff City Centre every year for 30 years and hope that you will visit us at yet another exciting market, with an eclectic mix of both new and returning exhibitors.
Our beautifully decorated wooden stalls, located outdoors in St John Street, Working Street, Trinity Street and Hills Street return for yet another exciting and eclectic Christmas Market from Thursday 9 November to Saturday 23 December.
The annual favourite is back for its sixteenth year in 2023. Entry to Winter Wonderland is free during off-peak hours and either £5 or £7.50 during peak times, and you can head along for cheerily lit fairground rides, a child-friendly Santa Land (including Santa's grotto) and quaint Christmas markets.
On weekdays, entry to Winter Wonderland is free on until 2pm; £5 per person until 4pm, and after 4pm, is £7.50. At weekends, prices start at £5, increasing to £7.50 from 2pm (and staying that way all day).
Tickets sell out especially at weekends and evenings so we recommend that you book ahead. Please note that tickets are not refundable or exchangeable. See Ticketing and Concessions (below) for further details. We strongly advise arriving at Winter Wonderland 30 minutes prior to your booked attraction.

Ice skating and the Ice bar both require a pre-booked ticket. Do I have to pay to get into Winter Wonderland? No! There is no admission fee, it is free to enter, you only have to pay for the attractions you choose.
One person remains in hospital after three people were thrown from a Christmas fairground ride. The Health and Safety Executive said it was "investigating reports of serious injuries" on the Sizzler ride at Cardiff's Winter Wonderland on Saturday evening. The ride will remain closed while the investigation takes place.

You will need to enter Hyde Park Winter Wonderland during your entrance ticket time slot, but after that you are welcome to stay and enjoy the festive fun for as long as you like until we close at 10pm.
