Were two people hospitalized at Winter Wonderland?
Winter Wonderland confirmed that it will remain closed until its investigation into the incident is complete. The Welsh Ambulance Service said two patients were taken to a local hospital in the Welsh capital.

At weekends, prices start at £5, increasing to £7.50 from 2pm (and staying that way all day). Prices for adults and children is the same, though infants under 2pm go free, as do personal assistants to those requiring assistance.
So it's with some trepidation that, in the year of our lord 2023, I head back to Winter Wonderland. It's an “off-peak” time, so the queues – thankfully – are minimal. Our tickets are scanned, before security guards open bags and pat down coats thoroughly.
Entry to Winter Wonderland is free during off-peak times, but entry at peak times and access to some activities require a paid-for ticket. In 2023, visitors who spent an additional £25 on chargeable attractions, rides or games when booking their ticket were entitled to free admission.
Those wanting to save their money for inside the Winter Wonderland festivities can enter the event for free during off-peak times. However, as mentioned above, visitors will still need to book a ticket before they arrive, which they can do on the Winter Wonderland website.
It's common knowledge just how expensive Winter Wonderland is, but after my first visit I'm not sure it would be worth going again. The whole area is basically a glorified funfair, where every attraction and game is multiple times the average price.

How much money does Winter Wonderland London make?
Local councils estimate that Winter Wonderland, a short walk from the West End, will generate a whopping £100 million for the London economy. But it's not until you walk in that you begin to appreciate the scale of this thing.
No child aged 12 or under (a “child”) will be admitted to the Event unless they are accompanied by a person aged 18 years or over (a “responsible person”) and such child or children whilst at the Event must remain accompanied and under the supervision of such responsible person at all times.
Dogs are not permitted into any attractions, with exception of certified assistance dogs. Please Note: Winter Wonderland can be very busy, especially at weekends, and therefore may not be a suitable environment for dogs.

Can you walk into Winter Wonderland without booking?
You must have a pre-booked time slot to enter Winter Wonderland, you can only enter during your time slot but once you're in you can stay as long as you like. Entry is free during off-peak periods and costs between £5 – £7.50 for peak hours.
While you can use cash at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, all our bars and stalls accept contactless payments. You will also be able to use contactless payments at our rides, token booths and games. Was this article helpful?
Are you only allowed in Winter Wonderland for 2 hours?
You will need to enter Hyde Park Winter Wonderland during your entrance ticket time slot, but after that you are welcome to stay and enjoy the festive fun for as long as you like until we close at 10pm.
Instead, I got a standard, no cream, no marshmallows Hot Chocolate for £3.50, and although it was very nice, it was less than a half-pint size and didn't offer enough heat to warm me up.
