Yellow is the primary color most commonly associated with irritation, annoyance, and high-intensity agitation, often described as an abrasive or overwhelming color in large quantities. Other colors that can evoke feelings of annoyance or distress include red (linked to anger/rage) and bright, discordant, or neon colors, which are often used to grab attention in a jarring way.
While cool colors like green and blue are generally considered peaceful and calming, the color red is considered the warmest and most contradictory of the colors. In fact, this fiery hue has more opposing emotional associations than any other color: Red is linked to passion and love as well as power and anger.
White can therefore also stand for new beginnings and rebirth, as every beginning is as white as a blank sheet of paper. Grey is the colour of objectivity, neutrality and reticence and is often associated with boredom and insecurity.
“Red” “Red” was indicated among the top three colors for anger, followed by jealousy, fear, and envy, respectively (Figure 2). The intensity of “red” for anger was high, whereas the intensity for “red” given to the other emotions was low-moderate (Table 2).

What is the color of jealous?
Since William Shakespeare's use of terms like "green-eyed monster", the color green has been associated with jealousy and envy, from which the expression "green with envy", is derived.
We found that clothing colour biases the perception of aggression, dominance and anger in strangers, outside of competitive or achievements contexts. Men wearing red were rated as more aggressive and more dominant and were more often categorized as 'angry' than targets wearing grey or blue.
Believe it or not, the color purple isn't real—at least not in the way other colors like red or green are. Here's the science: Most colors we see (like red, blue, or green) come from light of a specific wavelength. But purple doesn't have a wavelength of its own. Avoiding colors that can induce anxiety is a good start. Stay away from bright, bold, and intense colors. Colors like red and orange increase anxiety and stress, sometimes even fear. Red and orange are associated with an emergency that can elicit images of emergency vehicles with their lights and sirens on.
Whether depressed, anxious or healthy, people liked blue and yellow. Blue 28 on the color wheel was the most popular favorite color among healthy people, while Blue 27 (which is a little darker than 28) got first place among people with anxiety and depression.
Look at the different shades of red color in the movie, Her. they're telling the viewer about isolation, loneliness, the emotional state of the character, and his desire for love. And then there is Samantha (Scarlett Johansson), a new possibility for care and love, which is also associated with red.
Egyptian author, poet and feminist Marwa Rakha calls purple the color of loneliness because it "comes from mixing a passionate heart with a cold attitude." The first photo that popped up in our Google Images search results for Purple + Loneliness = The Lion King.
Say no to blue, green, red, and yellow. These numbered synthetic/artificial colors, are made from coal tar or petroleum and have been linked to allergies, asthma, hyperactivity in kids,and even cancer.
The brains of vertebrates are made of very soft tissue. Living brain tissue is pinkish on the outside and mostly white on the inside, with subtle variations in color.
