Ross-on-Wye Town Council is responsible for running the twice weekly markets which are held every Thursday and Saturday from 9.00am to 3.00pm. At our weekly market shoppers will find a mix of stalls including flowers & plants, fruit & veg, fish and clothing as well as local crafts and delicious foods.
Today the market is held on a Tuesday and Saturday weekly where traders sell their wares of plants, rugs, eggs, cheese, fish, bread, clothes, hardware, paintings and pictures, vegetables, etc.
Dominating the town is the spire of St Mary the Virgin Parish Church and next to it is the famous Prospect Gardens. From here you can take in wonderful views of the horseshoe bend in the Wye, the Black Mountains, Breacon Beacons and Malvern Hills.
