In The Bazaar (the auto-battler/roguelike game), gems are the primary currency used to purchase exclusive, rotating, or daily cosmetics in the in-game shop. They are also used to unlock new heroes for 3,000 gems (with discounted rates for the first two) and to purchase, or pay for entry, to certain modes.
The Bazaar is the place were you can spend Gems, Gold or Glory Points to buy Essence, Energy, Shards or Glory Cards. The Bazaar is refreshing every 6 hours and stock up on more/other things to buy. A refresh can be manually invoked by spending Gems.
