Unloaded Vehicle Weight (UVW) is the weight of a vehicle as manufactured at the factory. It includes full engine and generator fuel tanks and fluids, if applicable. It does not include cargo, water, propane, or dealer-installed accessories.
Specifically, mapping coordinates use the letters U, V, and W; the three letters preceding X, Y, and Z in the alphabet. The U, V, and W coordinates parallel the relative directions of X, Y, and Z coordinates. If you look at a 2D map image, U is the equivalent of X, and represents the horizontal direction of the map.
These are just to indicate the three phase terminals where U leads V and V leads W. Initially R,Y,B was used then A,B,C/X,Y,Z. All of them represent the same but it is just a standard marking procedure set by IEC to represent the terminals and direction of rotation.
UVW represents the XYZ coordinates of the texture, and does not have a specific name. The reason to this, is because XYZ defines the world axis, and hence the texture coordinates cannot be represented by the same axis'es, as the rotations of the texture may vary.
Autodesk 3ds Max, formerly 3D Studio and 3D Studio Max, is a professional 3D computer graphics program for making 3D animations, models, games and images. It is developed and produced by Autodesk Media and Entertainment.
Difference between RYB and UVW - electrical interview question
Why is it called 3ds Max?
In contrast, 3ds Max was created by Autodesk in 1996. Fun fact: it was originally called 3D Studio Max, which is where the 's' in the name comes from. 3ds Max is also used for 3D modeling and animation. Although it can achieve realistic renders and textures, it's not typically used for VFX or CGI.
For start connection join (X, Y, Z) and connect U (phase 1), V (phase2), W (phase3) and delta join (U, Z) phase 1, join (V,X) phase 2, join (W,Y) phase 3.
In a wiring diagram, "U" and "V" are commonly used to represent phases of a three-phase electrical system. The letters " Datta Groover. Speaker Trainer at Groover Seminars (2003–present) 5y. U and V (without a W) represent power where it's connected to a piece of equipment, like a motor, in a single phase system.
UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight) is the weight of the unit as built at the factory. This includes full fuel tanks, full generator fuel tanks, engine oil and coolants (if applicable). The UVW does NOT include cargo, fresh water, LP gas or dealer-installed accessories.
What are UVs? UVs are two-dimensional texture coordinates that correspond with the vertex information for your geometry. UVs are vital because they provide the link between a surface mesh and how an image texture gets applied onto that surface.
The UVW coordinate system is the same as the XYZ coordinate system, but uses the next three sequential letters to differentiate mapping from modeling. The u, v, and w directions correspond to the x, y, and z directions, respectively.
A UV Channel is a set of data within a Static Mesh that maps each of the mesh's vertices to coordinates in 2D space. These mappings define how 2D texture maps get wrapped around the 3D geometry when the mesh is rendered.
In three-phase 220v AC, the UVW colors are all but meaningless. They may be black/red/white, or yellow/orange/red... really anything. But a "neutral" should never be used in 3-phase wiring.
L1, L2, and L3 coils are live wires with each on their own phase carrying their own phase voltage and phase current. Two phases joining together form one line carrying a common line voltage and line current. L1 and L2 phase voltages create the L1/L2 line voltage. L2 and L3 phase voltages create the L2/L3 line voltage.
Black: Black wires are commonly used for phase conductors in single-phase systems. Red and Blue: In three-phase systems, red and blue wires are used for additional phase conductors. Orange: In some cases, orange wires may be used for high-leg delta systems, indicating a higher voltage.
Germans took freedoms and started calling voltage "U", probably since that letter was largely unused and so couldn't be confused with anything else. They also came up with etymology: U is for Unterschied, which is German and means "difference"; very fitting since voltage is obviously the same as potential difference.
High-voltage transmission lines distribute 3 phase power to consumers, stopping off at switching stations. These are centralized switchyards at the point of utilization for the purpose of transforming the 3 phase high-voltage transmission to a 3 phase medium-voltage transmission.
Single phase power has two wires; an active and a neutral. It supplies power at around 240 volts and is used in homes and businesses for most appliances and lighting. 3 phase power has four wires; three actives and one neutral, and supplies power at both 240V and 415V.
3ds Max is a powerful and feature-rich 3D modeling and animation software that is an industry leader. It features an intuitive user interface, powerful tools for creating complex 3D models and animations, and a range of interactive features to help streamline the process.
It all depends on what you're used to working with and what you need to accomplish. Maya: There are a lot more tools to learn in Maya than in 3Ds Max. Maya is, therefore, regarded by some as being more difficult to learn between the two.
