Torchflower Seeds. Not your garden-variety snack, but a delicacy that echoes the Sniffer's ancient roots. These seeds don't just grow on trees or hide under rocks. They're a secret whispered among the grass and dirt, revealed only when a Sniffer's nose hits the ground.
For a sniffer to be able to dig, it needs to be doing nothing else, not in water, on the ground, not in a boat or minecart, and the block underneath the head needs to be diggable and reachable for the sniffer.
Snifflets require 48000 game ticks to grow up into adult sniffers, which is equal to 40 minutes or two in-game days, twice as long as most other baby mobs in the game. The remaining growth time is reduced by 10% each time a snifflet is fed torchflower seeds.
Camels and sniffers are able to jump on to fences and walk over them therefore escaping any enclosures they are in. In the image you can see that a camel is sitting on a fence so it looks like it is levitating.

What Does A Baby Sniffer Do? The baby version of the Sniffer will grow into an adult Sniffer after two in-game days. It won't do much as a baby, simply existing as even more of a passive mob than its adult form. Once the baby turns into an adult, it will search for ancient seeds as described above.
Torchflowers can be used to breed two sniffers with each other – making the process of getting more eggs a little easier. They can also be used to heal an injured sniffer, so keep that in mind if one of your creatures ends up straying too close to a creeper explosion.
For a sniffer to be able to dig it needs to be doing nothing else, not in water, on the ground, not in a boat or minecart and the block underneath the head needs to be diggable and reachable for the sniffer. The head location is defined as 2.25 blocks in front of the center of the body.
As well as growing pitcher plants with the pods, you can also use them to breed chickens and tame parrots – just like other seeds. And the plants? They're good for showing off to visitors that you can grow ancient seeds, and for crushing down into cyan dye.
