How long does it take to look round Chatsworth House?
Gardens of Chatsworth House. Chatsworth House Gardens are huge and cover 105 acres. This will easily take 2-3 hours to explore, so really give yourself time so you are not rushing around.
It is located near the fictional town of Lambton, and believed by some to be based on Lyme Park, south of Disley in Cheshire. Mr. Gardiner, Mr. Darcy and others enjoying the river at Pemberley.

What date is the Chatsworth Christmas market 2023? While the 'Palace of Advent' runs from 4 November 2023 until 7 January 2024, Chatsworth's Christmas market runs for less time – only open from 4 November 2023 until 26 November. So be sure to time your visit accordingly if you're hoping to visit.
