The Bridge House in Canning Town (1975–1982) was a legendary East End pub-rock venue and, under landlord Terry Murphy, a pivotal, gritty launching pad for late-70s punk, oi, and new wave acts. Renowned as the first pub with its own record label, it hosted early performances by Iron Maiden, U2, Depeche Mode, and Dire Straits.
