much better than Blackpool! Lovely pier, and surrounded by St Anne's lovely beach, with a fabulous outlook. Very clean and far more upmarket than neighbouring Blackpool, highly recommend St Anne's on sea. Did not go to the fish and chip shop, so we are unable to comment on the one negative view.
There is no lifeguard service at Lytham St Annes, so care should be taken if you decide to take a paddle. Swimming is not recommended near the estuary.
