Kokni (or Kokani/Konkani) refers to a person, community, or language originating from the Konkan coastal region of western India, specifically southern Maharashtra. It commonly identifies an ethnoreligious subgroup of Muslims (Konkani Muslims) from this area, though it is sometimes used to describe the broader Konkani-speaking community.
