To quickly equip something in your stash or from a container, you can use Alt + Left MB. You can click and drag items around with the left mouse button to place them in specific slots. Pressing R while dragging an item rotates it so you can use the space you have more efficiently.
You can quickly move the items to your inventory by hovering the mouse over the item you want to get and pressing “LMB” + “LCtrl”. To quickly equip an item to your character press the “LMB” + “LAlt” keys and the item will be equipped to the free slot corresponding to this item.
Escape from Tarkov does have anti-cheat software and it's recently enacted a new community system where volunteers vet reports before forwarding suspected cheaters to developer Battlestate Games for further investigation.
While in a Raid, you can pick up items from the floor, from objects like tables, inspect jumpers, desks, med cases, and bags, and you can also check other players' (or bots') corpses. Simply aim close to them until the option appears and press F. They'll be saved in a free space in your in-game inventory.
If you have a very large stash, you might mostly have a SPACE problem. If this is the case, organize your favorites onto your shelves and into your drawers first. If you come across things you don't like any more, set them aside for possible destashing later.
For those who are new to the game or maybe just don't know, you can Ctrl Click on items and they will go directly into your backpack/rig/pouch and you can Alt Click on items to equip them.
There are a couple ways you can use a controller, with the easiest being via Steam. If you add Escape From Tarkov as a non-Steam game and launch it using the Big Picture mode, you will be free to map your inputs to your connected controller, which covers any current PlayStation, Xbox, and even some Switch controllers.
The game is far from realistic in terms of bullets and meds, but its as close as it can get to having a sense of realism. I do agree the ammo needs to be reworked, most of these armors/rigs would not take that many bullets but if you land that juicy head eyes like everyone seems to do anyways you'll be fine.
Tagged and Cursed is a hidden player state in Escape from Tarkov. It automatically applies to PMCs that don't have at least a firearm and an armor vest or a chest rig or a backpack equipped upon entering a raid.
The Money case is a container with the purpose of saving space within the player's inventory. It provides 49 inventory slots in a 7x7 grid and only takes up 6 inventory slots itself.
The bright side about this is that, if you survive the battle, you'll have the chance to send anything your Scav has equipped to your stash — as long as you have space in your inventory, of course. Anything you leave with your Scav will be discarded and unable to use or sell. This is the main idea of playing as a Scav.
When a wipe happens, all player progress, including levels, skills, inventory, and stash, is reset to its initial state. This means that everyone starts from scratch, with no gear or resources. A wipe in Escape from Tarkov is like a fresh start, a chance to rebuild and explore anew.
An investigation into the amount of cheating in Escape From Tarkov claims that 60% of matches, if not more, feature cheaters. At this point, almost all Escape From Tarkov players have had an experience with a cheater in-game.
Sometimes these swindlers need to be publicly shamed to grasp the gravity of the ban hammer that's fallen upon them, and that's exactly what Escape from Tarkov developer Battlestate Games has done with over 6,000 cheaters the studio has caught and banned of late.
Russian.2028 will be an open world, free roam, story driven first person action-RPG. It is unknown if it will have coop or if it will be strictly single player at this time. It will resume development when Escape from Tarkov has been finished. The game is set in the near-future Russia after a global war conflict.
