King Ahab is a primary example of greed in the Bible, famously coveting and seizing Naboth’s vineyard through murder and deceit (1 Kings 21). Driven by selfish desire, Ahab and his wife Jezebel exemplified how greed can corrupt leadership, leading to divine judgment.
