Which is nicer Thirsk or Ripon?
Depending on how quiet you want it, one of the villages might be better but Thirsk has a decent amenities in the town centre, its on the edge of the moors, train station for if you need to get anywhere for work. Ripon is nice, Northallerton, Knaresborough. Ripon is nice. Decent high street and schools.
Bramhope, a village in West Yorkshire, is the most expensive area, as the average asking price is £609,627. It has easy access to the countryside, woodlands, and good schools.
