Can you take your own food and drink into Birmingham Hippodrome?
Only food and drink purchased at Birmingham Hippodrome may be taken into the auditorium. Plastic glasses are provided at the bars. Any alcohol purchased outside of the venue will be removed and returned to you at the end of the performance. We are of course a No Smoking building.

At times, a front mezzanine view may even be preferable to an orchestra view, especially in shows with large ensembles or extensive choreography. Keep in mind that most Broadway theaters do not have elevators and taking the stairs is required to reach mezzanine seats.
Very few theatres operate a dress policy, and though traditionally evening performances are more formal than matinees, nobody will lambast you for wearing denim after 7pm.
