Where is the best place to see the Symphony of Lights?
The best viewing locations of this nightly spectacle are the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Avenue of Stars, the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai, and from sightseeing ferries in the Victoria Harbour.
It's worth seeing at least once. Plus, it's free. Don't miss this choreographed light and audio show involving both sides of Victoria Harbor. You can watch anywhere along Avenue of Stars but the audio is heard better near the Star Ferry and old clock tower.
Can you see Symphony of Lights from Victoria Peak?
Alternatively, you can enjoy the Symphony of Lights Show from e.g. the Peak, stunning rooftop bars, even your hotel rooms. But you cannot enjoy it with the synchronized music from these locations since there are no speakers.

How long is a full symphony?
A symphony is a big piece in several ways. Though it's divided into separate parts (usually, four individual movements), a typical Classical Period symphony can last between 25 and 35 minutes.
The Peak is free. The Peak is an open space with no entrance fee. However many of the things on the peak do cost money and require tickets. These include the Peak Tram, the Observation desk on the top of the Peak Tower, Madam Tussades and of course the many restaurants and cafes.
