The Thorndon Fair is held on Tinakori Road and Hill Street in historic Thorndon, Wellington 6011, New Zealand. It is a large annual street fair, usually taking place on the first Sunday of December, featuring over 250 stalls, food, and entertainment. It is considered Wellington's oldest street fair.
LOCATION. The Fair operates in Tinakori Rd (Bowen St to Harriet St) and Hill St (Tinakori Rd to Selwyn Tce). We are also kindly given space in the carparks of Premier House and Thorndon Dental. The main Fair entrances are at either end of Tinakori Rd, or just up from Parliament on Hill St.
