Marine archaeologists have found the first evidence of a people who perished in a great flood of the Black Sea that has been linked with the story of Noah's ark.
Regional Evidence for the Noachian and Similar Floods
Two rivers, the Euphrates and Tigris flow through Mesopotamia, which is now the country of Iraq (Figure 1). There are several layers in exposed rocks near these two rivers in southeastern Mesopotamia (Iraq) that are likely flood deposits.
William of Rubruck is usually considered the earliest reference for the tradition of Mount Ararat as the landing place of the ark in European literature. John Mandeville is another early author who mentioned Mount Ararat, "where Noah's ship rested, and it is still there".
From an academic perspective, Mount Judi and the modern Mount Ararat are distinct locations, although popular belief and later traditions have sometimes merged these narratives. In Jewish tradition, references to Ararat likewise describe a region rather than a specific summit.
Myth or Reality? Hunting for the REAL Noah's Ark (S4) | History's Greatest Mysteries
Has Noah's Ark ever been found on Mount Ararat?
For over a century, people have searched the mountains of Ararat for traces of the Ark. Despite regular claims, no credible archeological evidence has ever proven its existence—and even believers say the vessel likely wouldn't have survived 4,350 years of time and decay.
But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he lay with his brother's wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother. What he did was wicked in the LORD's sight; so he put him to death also.
The Ark itself was huge! With gross dimensions of about 450 feet by 75 feet by 45 feet, its volume was easily able to house two (or in some cases seven) of each land species, let alone kinds. The trip may have been difficult for Noah and his family, but it was possible, with God's help.
What is the meaning of the rainbow after the flood?
God blessed Noah and his sons and instructed them to be fruitful and multiply. He then placed his rainbow in the sky as a sign of his covenant that he would never again destroy the earth with the waters of a flood. The rainbow is a reminder of God's promise and the truth that he always keeps his promises.
Noah's Ark (Hebrew: תיבת נח; Biblical Hebrew: Tevat Noaḥ) is the boat in the Genesis flood narrative through which God spares Noah, his family, and one pair of every animal species in the world from a global deluge. The story in Genesis is based on earlier Mesopotamian flood myths.
Since 1973, very high-resolution U.S. spy satellites have hinted that a huge, ship-shaped object obscured by the permanent ice cap on Mt. Ararat in Turkey might be the remains of the biblical Noah's Ark.
In ancient times, twelve thirty-day months were used making a total of 360 days for the year. Abraham, used the 360-day year, which was known in Ur. The Genesis account of the flood in the days of Noah illustrated this 360-day year by recording the 150-day interval till the waters abated from the earth.

What does it mean when Mary pondered in her heart?
Mary was making memories. She was collecting a sort of mental scrapbook. The other key word in this verse is the word, “pondered.” The Greek word means “to throw thoughts together; mull over, draw conclusions, consider, confer mentally.” Another definition for ponder is to wonder at a deep level.
The rainbow is a sign of God's redeeming grace and mercy. The Hebrew word translated “rainbow” is properly translated “war bow.” God set the bow in the sky to serve as the sign of the Noahic covenant—signifying His promise of redemption (Gen. 9:8–17).
God binds himself to a covenant with Noah and his descendants, promising never to destroy the earth by flood (Gen. 9:8-17). God gives the rainbow as a sign of his promise. Although the earth has radically changed again, God's purposes for work remain the same.
Again, the Bible does not suggest that ANY animal missed the ark. Besides, Noah was given a direct order by God take every beast, fowl and any other living thing that creepeth upon the earth, onto the ark.
In the New Testament book of Revelation 4:6–8, four living beings (Greek: ζῷον, zōion) are seen in John's vision. These appear as a lion, an ox, a man, and an eagle, much as in Ezekiel but in a different order.
The number 38 also has symbolic meaning in Hebrew, representing exile, sickness, and revelation. Yeshua (Jesus) heals the man, bringing him out of exile and sickness to reveal Himself.
Jesus speaks of forgiveness beyond what anyone had ever considered before: seventy times seven! Many commentaries understand this to mean that Jesus was telling Peter that he should forgive his brother a limitless number of times.
Will God forgive me for having a child out of wedlock?
You're not going to hell because you had a baby out of wedlock. Romans 8:1 says therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. As long as you've asked God for forgiveness and have repented, you are fine.
