Early life. Maharaja Surajmal was born on 13 February 1707, to Raja Shri Badan Singh and Rani Devki in a Hindu Jat family of Sinsinwar clan of in Bharatpur Kingdom (present-day Rajasthan, India). He was the 21st descendant of Sobha Singh of Bayana. The Hindu Kingdom reached its prosperous state under Maharaja Surajmal.
1. Maharaja Suraj Mal of Bharatpur: He belonged to the Jat community and was a celebrated ruler of Bharatpur in the 18th century. The Jats, though agriculturists, rose to prominence as warriors and rulers, particularly in northern India, and were not traditionally considered Rajputs.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Sikh ruler of Punjab, has been described as "Jat" in records. This has led to the view that he belonged to the Jat. There are some claims that he was of a lower caste, but according to W. H. McLeod, however, it is more likely that he belonged to the same Jat got ("clan") as the Sandhawalias.
Maharaja Suraj Mal, entitled 'the Plato of the Sinsinwar Jat tribe' and the 'Jat Ulysses', came after his visionary approach and political sagacity in the trajectory of Northern India in the 18th century.
According to Bharatendu Harishchandra's account, Maharaja Agrasen was a Suryavanshi Kshatriya king, born during the last stages of Dwapar Yuga in the Mahabharat epic era, he was contemporaneous to Lord Krishna. He was Son of King Vallabha Dev who was Descendant of Kush(Lord Rama's Son).

Ranjit Singh was born in a Sandhawalia Jat Sikh family on 13 November 1780 to Maha Singh and Raj Kaur in Gujranwala, Punjab region (present-day Punjab, Pakistan).
Gobind Singh was the only son of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh guru, and Mata Gujri. He was born into the Sodhi clan of the Punjabi Khatri community. He was born in Patna, Bihar on 22 December 1666 while his father was visiting Bengal and Assam.

Vishvendra Singh. Vishvendra Singh (born 23 June 1962) is the titular Maharaja of Bharatpur and a politician who has served as the cabinet minister of tourism and civil aviation in Government of Rajasthan from November 2021 to December 2023.
However, there's a rhetoric spread by some Agrawals claiming to be direct descendents of Raja Todar Mal and living in Moti Mahal, which is a blatant lie. Raja Todar Mal was not a Baniya / Agrawal.
