Shiva is an Indian animated action TV series produced by Cosmos-Maya and Viacom18, premiering in 2015/2016. It airs on Nickelodeon India and Nickelodeon Sonic and follows the adventures of a young boy with superhuman powers living in a fictional Indian city.

Why is Shiva called Rudra?
Rudra (Sanskrit: रुद्र, IPA: [rud̪rɐ]) is a Rigvedic deity associated with Shiva, the wind or storms, Vayu, medicine, and the hunt. One translation of the name is 'the roarer'. In the Rigveda, Rudra is praised as the "mightiest of the mighty". Rudra means "who eradicates problems from their roots".
