Heavy's fear of Pyro in Team Fortress 2 stems from Pyro being an inscrutable, masked, and maniacal figure who represents unpredictable chaos. As a character, Pyro is feared by most mercenaries as a barely human,, fire-obsessed entity, possibly with a tragic, scarred backstory. Pyro's inability to be understood and constant, destructive, fire-based attacks create deep, psychological terror.
Pyro is hated because not only is his after burn annoying, he has high dps if he constantly hits you. His air blast can put you at a disadvantage or allow him to get a head start on his retreat.
The Heavy have both a higher health pool and a better damage output at close range, which makes him able to beat a Pyro without much trouble if the masked maniac can't escape him on time.
Pyro, as many other mutants, was brainwashed by Mentallo, but was eventually freed due to the efforts of Weapon X-Force. Later, after the apparent death of the X-Men, he joined Joseph's new Brotherhood, who attacked a military base in Transia.
Pyro presented himself as a cocky individual who was very confident in his abilities, as shown when he almost effortlessly absorbed Human Torch's flaming abilities, causing the latter to fall to the ground unconscious.
However in TF2 Comics #6, when Scout is with God, it is implied again he is a virgin. In TF2 Comics #7 “The Days Have Worn Away”, Scout is shown to have had 4 children, showing he is no longer a virgin.
The Heavy has a PhD in Russian Literature. In Meet the Heavy, the Heavy didn't use either his secondary or melee. Although clearly referred to as a male, the card ends with the phrase 'if he is even a man at all. ' This most likely suggests that the Pyro might not be human at all, but is also likely to keep players guessing at their gender.
They wear an asbestos-lined suit that nullifies the afterburn of other Pyros and all flame-related weaponry (except for the Dragon's Fury and Gas Passer), although it does not provide any resistance to direct fire damage.
While it is ambiguous whether they are being brainwashed by the Pyrovision goggles or are a sadist who views everything they do as fun and childish, either way they have moral agency issues as they either truly don't understand what they are doing is wrong and are mentally ill to the point of genuine insanity.
Pyrophobia is an intense fear of fire. It can cause anxiety, panic attacks or an avoidance of any situation with the potential for fire. Psychotherapy can help people manage the symptoms of pyrophobia.
Pyros will generally wait behind turns or hide behind objects for a chance at successfully ambushing you. Going around them at a distance will give you more reaction time to deal with them. If you can't escape the Pyro, try to weaken them for your teammates before they kill you.
Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, the Scout is a fast-running scrapper with a baseball bat and snarky in-your-face attitude. He is the fastest and most mobile mercenary on the battlefield unassisted.
Team Fortress 2 - Scout. The youngest of eight boys from the south side of Boston, the Scout learned early how to problem solve with his fists. It is the only comic book issue to have been inducted into the Gaylactic Hall of Fame.
It's not that he's more powerful but that he's a hard counter to fire itself. If they got into just a straight up fight Pyro very likely loses because Johnny is a more capable fighter even without the flames. Also he has better stamina and immunity to fire. In the movie Pyro pulled him out of the air.
