Heavy's fear of Pyro in Team Fortress 2 stems from Pyro being an inscrutable, masked, and maniacal figure who represents unpredictable chaos. As a character, Pyro is feared by most mercenaries as a barely human,, fire-obsessed entity, possibly with a tragic, scarred backstory. Pyro's inability to be understood and constant, destructive, fire-based attacks create deep, psychological terror.
Pyro is hated because not only is his after burn annoying, he has high dps if he constantly hits you. His air blast can put you at a disadvantage or allow him to get a head start on his retreat.
