Can you take photos at Beamish?

Yes, you can take photos at Beamish for personal use, but there are a few important rules to follow: you must not take photos of children who are not part of your party, and any commercial photography requires special permission from the museum's Communications Team. Beamish also has a dedicated photography studio where visitors can get their pictures taken in Edwardian costumes for a fee.

I'd plan for at least 4-5 hour visit, if not longer. We arrived at 10.20am and left at 15.30. You have to see everything, plenty of places to eat & drink. We missed a couple of things out, like looking in the pub and masonic hall.
