Parents need to know that Any Given Sunday is a powerful football drama that explores teamwork, dedication, and professionalism, but also contains strong language, drugs, sex, and gory injuries.
On the extremely negative side, ANY GIVEN SUNDAY has plenty of strong foul language. Although the sex scenes are tame for an R-rated movie, the director breaks some taboos in a couple shots of full nudity by including a brief shot of genitalia.
It is partly based on the 1984 novel On Any Given Sunday by NFL defensive end Pat Toomay; the title is derived from a line in the book (also used in the film) that a team can win or lose on "any given Sunday", said by the fictitious coach Tony D'Amato.
Critics and players alike say there's a lot of realism in the film. "I would say 'Any Given Sunday' is Oliver Stone's fever dream of what the NFL is like," said Will Leitch on SI at the Movies. "And the irony, of course, is that it's actually not that far off from what it is."

There are some jump scares and the main monster is quite creepy looking along with some scary images such as a dead man with a broken neck, and we see missing body parts. Attacks are shown on screen but not in graphic detail. That being said I would recommend it from 13 and up :) 21 people found this helpful.
