One that isn't blaring or flashy, or even monumental. Instead, a life that brings great delight to the Lord. We see the idea of a "quiet life" referenced in 1 Thessalonians 4:11 as an encouragement and charge written by Paul to the Thessalonians.

What Does It Mean To Live A Quiet Life? At its core, quiet living is about making a conscious effort to simplify life. It involves tuning out distractions and noise (literally and metaphorically). It's the opposite of hustle culture which glorified being overbooked and overworked.
A quiet spirit does not mean you just shut up and never talk. A quiet spirit is deeper than your words. You can never speak a word and your soul will be just as restless. A quiet spirit is a mind that has nothing to prove, nothing to gain, nothing to lose. It doesn't worry about yesterday or tomorrow.
God was waiting for the right time, which He made known prior, to speak and act as He finally does in Exodus 3. God is sometimes silent because He is awaiting the appointed time to speak. What is important is for us to wait for Him in His silence, to hold on to what He last said as we anticipate His response.
